Spring has come and gone and we are on day 2 of summer. The pool is not ready (lol is it ever) the garden is just recently in, sort of, (still have more seeds to plant) and the lawn needs to be mowed again! So basically what else is new..SSDD. Darren's high school graduation has come and gone, one wedding down and two more to go next month. The blooming flowers are wonderful this year, I guess all the rain this spring made a world of difference! The scent of the Honeysuckle is stunning this year! I can’t get over how well that it bloomed! I was afraid that it was going to die with as bad as the weather was this past winter and spring! The new ducks are doing great and the ladies are sitting on two nests in the barn. The duck story will come in another post. I am teaching myself how to sew and I am transforming my gardens into magickal ones. The stories that will be coming on those subjects are quite comical! Stay tuned for more adventures here in my little slice of heaven. They will be getting better as I have recently gotten a job at the local Wal-Mart as a greater! I am waiting to find out when orientation is and training. This should be very interesting. I just have to remember that I can not say…”Hi Welcome to Wal-Mart, git yer shit and git out!”

Rub a dub dub!!
Rub a dub dub there ain't no more tub! Not too very long ago Mike was looking at what I thought was a stain on the bottom of the bath tub. Come to find out it is not a stain after all but a rust hole that is forming by the drain. We already knew that the tub surround was broke and had to be fixed, (my caulk job sucked), so off to the Home Depot we went. Looking for a quick fix for the tub. We found a really nice replacement tub and surround that locks together and never needs to be caulked! (My kind of tub) So we talked to the guy there and he informed us how easy it was to install. YEA RIGHT! LOL You would think that after 19 years here we would have learned our lesson. Nope, not us! After tearing out the walls, killing the mold on the drywall behind the tub surround, removing a bees nest in the wall (between the drywall and outside), taking out the old plumbing, removing the old tub, we are now ready to start prepping to put the new tub in. Prepping mind you not installing. The next chapter we will cover all the prep work that needs to be done before we can even think tub!

A Little of this and a little of that...
It's amazing how busy you can get when you're not looking. This is the first time in ages that I have had a chance to log back in and take a minute or two for myself! Lately I have been very busy doing a complete magical cleansing of my whole house. The guys have loved it! (Not) I started in the basement, which took 3 months, ( is anyone surprised?!), then I moved to the kitchen and so on. Box upon box of things that I have never used, have not used in years or just had no clue where they came from have been hauled out to the barn for a summer garage sale! I am so surprised at the energy in the house now! I have actually finished a few projects that have been on the back burner for ages and started a few and even finished them. One that I have started and almost finished is a model Carousel that my mom got me back in the 90's ..... It has been sitting on a shelf in the basement cupboard for a few years, never opened and just begging to be built.
The only thing I am having a problem with is where am I going to put the darn thing! It is huge!!
